The Bethlem Royal hospital in south London is the world's oldest psychiatric institution. As 'Bedlam' it became synonymous with chaos and despair. Today it is a pioneer in innovative treatments for people with mental illness, such as therapeutic art. Here, some of its service users describe how creating artworks can free them from their problems
